Scope of Services

Photography & Film Production

Our daily production rate includes:

  • Pre-production planning & equipment

  • On-location filming & photography

  • Color grading & professional post-production

  • File transfer and access via secure OneDrive delivery

  • Non-exclusive, unlimited usage rights as defined below

Travel costs: Agreed separately unless included in a fixed-price arrangement.

File Delivery & Storage

  • Files are delivered via OneDrive for direct client download.

  • Final assets are made available progressively as editing is completed.

  • Clients are responsible for downloading and archiving delivered files.

  • FotoKnoff does not guarantee file storage beyond 12 months from delivery date.

Project Preparation

  • Locations must be fully cleaned, staged, properly lit, and free of any undesired elements prior to the scheduled shoot.

  • Clients are encouraged to attend the production and maintain active communication throughout.

Documenting the Production

When documenting the production itself:

  • Images must reflect the ongoing photoshoot process, showing the photographer, equipment, lighting, and setup.

  • Direct reproduction of fully staged scenes is not permitted without prior consent.

Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

All delivered materials remain the intellectual property of FotoKnoff.

The client is granted non-exclusive usage rights for:

  • The company’s own website and blog

  • Social media platforms

  • Corporate presentations and brochures

  • Marketing materials and campaigns

Prohibited uses:

Resale, sublicensing, redistribution, or use on commercial products without prior written authorization.

Rights Termination

  • Usage rights terminate automatically if the client’s company ceases operations, enters bankruptcy, or is dissolved.

  • In the event of mergers or acquisitions, usage rights may continue according to original intent.

Photo Credit & Attribution

Credit is required:

  • In media, press, and news publications

  • Recommended in all digital sharing, including social media

Image Editing:

  • Cropping is permitted.

  • Further modifications require prior written approval.

Web Solutions — Squarespace

  • Fully customized websites delivered via Squarespace.

  • Includes design, brand presentation, integrated photography and video, multilingual options, and modern UX/UI design.

  • Design drafts are presented following initial client planning and feedback.

Since 2014, FotoKnoff has exclusively delivered websites on Squarespace.

Web design services operate under the brand DREYMA®, a registered trademark of FotoKnoff AS.

Subscription & Technical Operations

  • Squarespace subscription billed directly to the client (currently NOK 249/month).

  • Hosting, platform support, and 24/7 technical assistance are included.

Mobile App Access

  • Clients may manage content via the official Squarespace app (iOS and Android).

Multilingual Solutions

  • Multilingual architecture can be integrated via native Squarespace structures or through third-party providers (e.g., Weglot, additional fees apply).

Training

  • Up to 2 hours of practical training is included for client onboarding.

Client Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for submitting final, proofread content via email or Microsoft Teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Billing

  • Invoices are primarily issued via Electronic Commerce Invoice (EHF) with a standard 7-day payment term, unless otherwise agreed.

Limitation of Liability

FotoKnoff AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delivered services or materials, including but not limited to loss of revenue, business interruptions, or data loss.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform due to events beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, governmental actions, technical failures, or force majeure events.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.

Revisions & Updates

FotoKnoff AS reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions as needed. The most current version will always be available on our official website.
