Sven-Erik Knoff brings a rare, multidimensional expertise to his work as a filmmaker and photographer. Before establishing himself in the visual arts in 2014, he spent sixteen years as a chef in the ultra-luxury hospitality sector, followed by four years in the wine import industry. This background offers deep insight into taste, craftsmanship, and premium guest experiences — all of which shape his cinematic sensibility and visual precision.
His production credits include contributions to BBC’s Martin Compston’s Norwegian Fling, Apple TV+’s Long Way Up (with Ewan McGregor), and other selected international TV and cinema projects. He has recently worked on a British feature film as both drone operator and set photographer, bringing aerial and on-set expertise to high-demand production environments. His work has received multiple international awards, and he serves as a recurring Grand Jury member for the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards.
Sven-Erik collaborates closely with his colleague Amanda Sotberg, a creative director and photographer known for her strong conceptual intuition, visual clarity, and ability to shape experiences with understated elegance.
